Learning Centers

Learning Centers increase children’s responsibility and improve their organizational skills. Centers also encourage cooperative play and exploration.

The children are having fun exploring the many activities in the centers. They are totally engrossed in the art center. Painting is a definite favorite. The block center is an- other favorite spot, and is great for helping to develop young children’s eye-hand coordination and large and small motor skills. During the year the children will have the opportunity to learn extraordinary amounts through explora- tion of the many centers.

Jambalaya Dinner Fundraiser

Our annual Jambalaya Dinner fund raiser will be will be held on Sunday, October 10. This fund raiser continues to be a major contributor in helping us to ob- tain equipment and furnishings for our preschool. This year we would like to use the proceeds to put a shade cover over the playground.

Gia Mashon, Amy Uffman, and Ron McDaniel will be organizing this event. Please call the preschool if you can donate or help with the printing of the tickets. We hope all of you will respond in a positive way when asked to help with this fund raiser.

Please come out and support our school and enjoy the fellowship of other parishioners. Mass on the picnic grounds and lots of entertainment are planned for the entire family.
